Re: What Preps are you doing this week? Part 10

With you on grain situation diamond lil food for thought if you'll pardon the pun, quite shocking how prices are going up on non food items too. Personally trying to go back older ways of cooking from scratch and repairing clothes etc

Re: What Preps are you doing this week? Part 10

My local Tesco has 20 per cent discount on ethnic foods (runs until 10th August apparently) so will be stocking up on rice, lentils, dried herbs/spices etc. Need to go through canned food and use any coming up to their use/best before dates not as exciting as some folk but keeps me busy

Re: Just joined

Healthy eating is always good idea, got sciatica myself and found yoga helps although with any new excersise regime especially with physical health problems probably best to proceed with caution and get proper medical advice before embarking on anything too strenuous, anyway welcome to the the forum...

Re: Waterproof jackets

Great tips, didn't realise about waterproof/breathable ratings (every days a school day) and layers definitely work for keeping warm maybe because I'm a cheapskate and refuse to put heating on until it's stupidly cold
